What They Needed:
CASE Emergency Systems has been an emergency phone supplier to the UCSD campus for over 10 years. When the existing system started showing signs of irreparable wear, and the existing 2G communication technology was phased out by the provider, it was time to refurbish the otherwise operational tower phones so that they would function on a 4G LTE network.
How CASE Responded:
CASE Emergency System’s Retrofit solution was the perfect fit.

Cellular units onboard the latest CASE equipment models come 4G ready and will be ahead of the 3G sunset already underway by many cellular carriers.
Lockdowns in which the sound of cell phones may attract the attention of school intruders, a single teacher, administrator, or security guard can activate the emergency system with a touch of a button
