With its year-round pleasant temperatures, the residents of Westchase District understandably enjoy spending time outdoors and being active. Westchase District is a suburban master-planned community just outside Houston, TX. It is known for its many parks, public gardens, bike paths, and nature trails, all of which are attractive amenities for this contemporary neighborhood that includes both residential homes and upscale business districts.
Recently, the district decided to enhance these outdoor amenities even more by adding CASE Blue Light Towers for emergency communications along its entire trail network. Community officials were motivated by the knowledge that many people do not bring their phones with them while jogging, biking, or walking their dogs, and even those that do often find themselves without any way to recharge their devices while out on the trail. With the CASE Emergency Systems equipment in place, residents have an extra level of security should they experience an injury or need other assistance when they are outdoors.
It’s a huge leap forward for getting more people into community parks – and more involved in the activities and amenities offered by municipal organizations. See the full story here: https://www.westchasedistrict.com/district-installs-emergency-call-boxes-along-trail-system/
